Painter/Photographer/Poet/Draftsman/Typographer/Music Curator/Essayist/Artist/Designer/Writer

I am, at heart, a mulit-disciplinarian. If there is a current that runs through my work it is the themes of identity, narrative and purpose. (What is this? Where does it come from? Where is it going? Why?) I exist in both the worlds of art (the abstract, the conceptual, the emotional) and design (the concrete, the practical, the rational), preferring to reap the bounty of conflation rather than pick the gleanings of compartmentalization. If I had to condense my self-description into evidence-based language, I would say that my artistic practice hovers around abstract painting and photography while my design work focuses within branding and typography. But at the end of the day I just love to create.
